This policy explains who is responsible for published content, how calculation statements are checked, how interpretation is qualified and how users can report an error.

Scope

What this policy covers

It applies to public educational guides, calculator explanations, Panchang/Kundli methodology pages and interpretation copy published on parasharajyotisha.com. Legal, privacy and service terms remain governed by their dedicated pages.

Calculation statementsDescribe the inputs, astronomical convention and Jyotisha rules used by the current implementation.
Interpretive contentExplains traditional concepts without presenting one factor as a guaranteed event or outcome.
Service informationStates whether an offering is free, what data is required and what the user should expect next.
Authorship and review

How pages are published

  • Educational astrology content identifies M. Sharma as the responsible author or curator and links to the About page.
  • Substantive guides show a published or updated date. A date changes only when the page receives a meaningful content or methodology revision.
  • Method claims are checked against the current implementation before publication. The separate Panchang and Kundli pages describe the current conventions.
  • Automated output, traditional interpretation and practical advice are kept distinct. Astrology is not presented as a replacement for medical, legal, financial, safety or emergency advice.
  • Credentials, review counts, success rates and testimonials are not published unless they can be substantiated and, where relevant, shared with permission.
Calculation transparency

What an auditable issue report needs

A useful calculation report lets the same result be reproduced. Include:

  1. The exact page URL and the date/time you observed the issue.
  2. The entered date, time, city and country; for historical charts, include the expected timezone if known.
  3. The field that appears wrong and the value shown.
  4. The expected value and the comparison source or method.
  5. A screenshot if it helps, with unrelated personal information removed.
Do not send secrets: never include a password, OTP, card number, banking credential or private authentication token. Birth data is personal; send only what is necessary to reproduce the calculation.
Corrections

How reported errors are handled

1. ReproduceThe report is checked using the stated inputs, page and convention.
2. ClassifyThe issue is separated into input/timezone, display copy, calculation logic, interpretation or a difference in convention.
3. Correct safelyA confirmed issue is changed with regression checks designed to protect working outputs and unrelated account/security functions.
4. Update the pageMaterial content or methodology corrections receive a new updated date. A correction note may be added when users need to understand the change.

Not every difference is an error. Regional Panchang rules, ayanamsa, birth-time uncertainty and different matching conventions can produce legitimate differences. The relevant assumption should be made visible.

Reviews and examples

Permission and privacy come first

Consultation reviews are published only with permission and moderated to remove sensitive personal details. Case studies, if added, must be anonymized or explicitly authorized, describe their limitations and avoid claims that a single result proves a universal rule.
